Interview conducted by Jim M. Dandy as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on January 3, 1990. Neztsosie, a Navajo, talks about his early life on the Navajo Reservation. He describes attending boarding schools in Arizona, his experiences at a boarding school in Richfield, Utah and his conversion to the Mormon Church. He talks about his experiences at Brigham Young University, his mission to North Dakota, and his marriage to a non-Navajo. He talks about his relationships with Mormons and tells about his reaction to the excommunication of George P. Lee.
